Outdoor Fitness Program Rationale

"As professional Fire Fighters here in Melbourne, we were witnessing first hand an alarming increase in heart attacks and strokes due to people leading sedentary and inactive lifestyles. Our profession requires us to render assistance to these people. 

We decided that we needed to tackle this problem head on, and get Melbournians active. We believe that our unique style of training, which is based upon the Fire Brigade's ethos of Teamwork, Mate ship and camaraderie, is a sensational way to tackle our society’s health issues in a positive, rewarding and enthusiastic manner."

Fire Up! Fitness Camp is an outdoor fitness program established in 2004 by a group of Melbourne's Professional Fire Fighters for the public.

NO BOOTCAMP here! Just a positive and motivational environment run by firefighters!
